NaNovember - Day 7

Whoops, I got behind on blogging but it is okay because I got behind on my word count as well. Also, daylight savings time and the Raleigh marathon happened today so I was trapped in my block by people who like to run too far but felt strangely rested for how early it was as I watched the few SNL sketches up on youtube, a rituals. I can't help but feel that this must have been an exceedingly odd experience for Aidy Bryant, on one had it's funny, on the other it's kind of gross, on the other hand national icons of masculinity(multiple types), and on the final hand playing dead. So many layers of "huh! okay? I guess I can do that."

I have realized that I can do a flow of about 500 words with very little effort but pushing past that into a more substantial word count proves difficult. Not impossible but challenging. I am debating whether that means I need to try and sit down and write three times a day or if I will run into the same issue with my second 500 that I am running into when I try to write more at once.

I also realized that after writing three chapters I finally got to the first chapter of my book, which is weird but since I am shooting for a novel I am not too concerned.

Andrew is doing well. He sent me a brainstorming request which means I get a chance to sneak more hijinks into his novel.

Hope everyone is trucking along. Keep writing and being awesome.
